Cutest little T-ball player EVER!!

Katy has been playing T-ball this spring. When she started she knew absolutly nothing about baseball, but she has learned so much and she loves it! She has only 2 more games left. And thank goodness, cause it's startin' to get HOT!!

Wedding Card for Ms. Gordon....I mean Mrs. Hart

Sara's teacher, Ms. Gordon, was married in March. Now she is Mrs. Hart and I can't ever remember to call her by her new name! Anyway, I made her a card to congratulate her and her husband on the wedding. I used a new stamp set that I got for free when I went to Leadership this January. Isn't it just beautiful??!!

Happy Easter 2010!

Playing with photoshop a little here! (above photo)

Hello everyone! Yes, I disappeared from the blog world for a little while. But, some things just had to give while life took over. Hopefully I can find the time to be able to post once a week or whenever I can so you all can keep updated about us here in Mims!

This week was Spring Break, so the kids and I did lots of fun stuff. Chuck-e-Cheeses, bowling, they stayed at Nana's one night, we went to Universal one day and yesterday we saw a movie.

Here are some pics from Universal on April 1st, 2010.

Happy Easter!

Puppy dogs!

Update April 3, 2010: My sweet 12 year old Cosmo was bit by a rattlesnake (yes, again!) on October 7th. He was in such bad shape, and not able to recover, so we chose to put Cosmo to sleep. That was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, besides having to watch my Dad die. I miss my little buddy everyday.

Cosmo - He is so gray now! He's old, but he still acts like a pup!

Here are some new photos of Cosmo and Spike. Cosmo will be 12 next month!! I've had him since he was 7 weeks old. Spike will be 1 in August.

Sara and Spike. He won't sit still long enough to have his picture taken.

Cowgirls!

Sara and Katy went to a summer camp program last week and Katy's preschool. It was a Cowboy theme all week and on Friday they were able to dress up like cowboys and cowgirls. Luckily, we had these vests and hats from a birthday party they went to last summer! They looked so cute! Although, once I took this photo, Katy took off her boots and said she didn't want to wear them. Oh, well. They were cowgirls who wore flip-flops!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Flight of the (sage) Butterfly

Here is a card I made for my stamp night last week. I pretty much copied it off of the Stampin Up website for demonstrators. But, I just love how clean and simple this was. My friends who come to make cards love to have cute, easy to make cards. And this is easy!

card recipe:

stamps: Inspired by Nature, Flight of the Butterfly

paper: sage shadow, so saffron, very vanilla

ink: sage shadow, so saffron
accessories: 2-way glue, DD glitter, dimensionals

This is a card we will be making at my stamp night on Thursday. I try to make them fairly easy to make, without too much cutting or labor. This card uses the Just Beachy set from the mini catalog and Three Thoughts which is from a Simply Sent card kit.

Thanks for stopping by!
