Super Easy Valentine Card!

I finally got to ink up my new 'Love You Much' stamp set yesterday! (check out www.sharibielefeld.stampinup.net to find out how to get this stamp set 20% off!) This is a SUPER simple card I made. Super-simple is about all I have time for lately! I've got to start taking down the christmas decor soon. I feel like I just got it all put up! This December went way too fast. I need to start earlier next year, and not wait till the week before Christmas to make Christmas cards!

paper: kraft, whisper white, Candy Lane DSP
accessories: Ice circle rhinestone brads, blender pen, red riding hood taffeta ribbon, 1/8" hole punch, dimensionals

Chipboard wall hanging

This is a chipboard wall hanging I made for a stamping class last month. Everyone really enjoyed making them! It's really quite simple to make. Using Stampin' Up chipboard, I adhered Designer Series Paper with Tombow glue. Sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip classic ink and placed jumbo eyelets at the top. Then just tie your ribbon and you are almost done! You can embellish these in so many ways, the possibilities are endless!

The Best Who-oliday Ever!

We went to Universal Studios on Tuesday. I just love the new Grinch show they have now, and it's fun seeing all of the Who-oliday decorations! We rode several rides before it got too busy. I think we will go back next week to see the Macy's parade in the evening. We had a really good Christmas, Santa brought us a Wii, so we've been busy learning how to play that.
Merry Christmas!

Christmas Garland

Once a month at the clubhouse in my neighborhood, my wonderful friend Beckie and I host a cardmaking/scrapbooking night. This month we made several fun Christmas projects. This is a sample of the Joy garland. It is made out of plain white 3x3 coasters and covered in Stampin' Up Designer Series paper. The letters were diecut with the awesome Sizzix Big Shot. Man, that thing is great!

the dogs

Here is Spike, our new puppy. He's 5 months old now. Cosmo was not too crazy about him at first, but he tolerates him now. He's super cute and super soft & cuddly. They kids carry him around and doesn't mind a bit.

For those of you who don't know, Cosmo was bit by a rattle snake this summer. $3000 later, he was fine after a couple weeks. Just last week he killed a coral snake in the yard. At least the kids aren't finding the snakes!

Santa was here!

Santa comes through our neighborhood every year. We all get so excited to hear the sirens of the firetrucks and we run out and wait for the Mims Fire Dept. and Santa to drive by and throw out candy. And it was warm this year, too!

New Blog!

I've decided to start a blog for the new year. Hopefully this way, I can keep my friends and family updated with what's going on here. And I can share photos, stamping projects and whatever comes to mind! Here are some photos I took the other day of Sara (6 years old) and Katy (she'll be 4 in January).
I still have some tweeking to do with the blog, but this is a start......
